Before Pluto was discovered in 1930, astrologers predicted there must be a planet beyond Neptune based on mathematical irregularities in Uranus's orbit.
Astronomer Percival Lowell calculated where this "Planet X" should be, and Clyde Tombaugh found Pluto exactly where predicted. Interestingly, astrologers had already assigned meanings to this unknown planet.
When Pluto was discovered, its astrological meaning (transformation, death/rebirth, power) aligned remarkably well with what astrologers had intuited.
